In her short life, Baylee has experienced the Lord is amazing ways. When she was little she battled fear and as she grew she walked the death of three of her grandparents. She has learned many verses over the years. In first grade she memorized Psalm 23, which many people know from memory. Because the Word is living and active, the Holy Spirit has made this passage especially "real" to her.

Here is what the Lord wrote to Baylee as well as to all of His other children: This is Psalm 23:4 written as if the Lord were saying it to her:

Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Baylee, you shall fear no evil, for I am with you; My rod and My staff, they will comfort you.

Baylee ~ the Lord has graced you with so much, including, salvation, health, family, siblings, opportunities, intellect, shelter, food... and the list goes on an on. As your parents, we accept and rejoice in the responsibility of training you in the ways of the Lord. Our prayer is that you will use all that you are and all that you have to bring Him glory and honor as you have already done.

1 Timothy 4:12 says, "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." You challenge other believers with your obedience and encourage others, including me, to love the Lord with all their hearts, souls, minds and strength. It is an overwhelming honor to be your mom.
